Hello, to all.
My name is Amir Said. Friends call me "Sa'id" (or Said, my last name without the apostrophe for style); feel free to do the same.

I'm a writer, publisher, beatmaker, and budding filmmaker. This blog used to serve as a means for me to cover all of my interests that fall under the rubric of culture—music, movies, television, literature, media, philosophy, sports, technology, and the like. But more recently it has morphed into a place where I log my random observations of culture, and the people who fuel it, in the form of two to five-sentence essays.
